Creemos que los niños deben ser guiados hacia aplicaciones creativas del aprendizaje del lenguaje y hacia un reencuentro con la literatura. Parte de esto es el enfoque significativo en el trabajo en equipo, especialmente cuando se preparan representaciones teatrales de la literatura, las canciones y la expresión física, ayudando así a los niños a adquirir una mejor pronunciación y fluidez en la escritura, la lectura y el habla.
Nuria Sánchez lidera el diseño de este desarrollo curricular y con su experiencia de muchos años dirigiendo el Sing and Dance Project y estando directamente involucrada en producciones teatrales en toda España y fuera de ella, podemos estar seguros de que la experiencia de los niños con las Artes Escénicas será de la más alta calidad.
Nuria Sánchez y Víctor Ullate Roche son miembros valiosos de la comunidad de Agora ISM y ya lideran el Bachillerato Internacional de Artes Escénicas en el colegio.
Agora International School Madrid continues to be at the forefront of creative curriculum development and from September 2021, will implement Performing Arts to the Primary Syllabus placing an audacious focus on developing children’s inner confidence, word power, imagination and desire to have fun while learning.
We believe that children should be guided towards creative applications of language learning and towards a reengagement with literature. Part of this is the meaningful focus on team work preparing theatrical representations of literature, song and physical expression thereby helping the children acquire improved pronunciation and fluency in writing, reading and speaking.
Nuria Sánchez is leading the design of this curricular development and with her many years’ experience directing the Sing and Dance Project and being directly involved in theatrical productions throughout Spain and beyond, we can be sure that the children’s experience with Performing Arts will be of the highest quality.
Nuria and Victor Ullate Roche are valued members of the Agora ISM community and already oversee the International Baccalaureate in Performing Arts at the school.
